HNT- Kitty Cat

I have a new roommate. His name is Snarf.

The five months between the time Ramses ran away and the time I adopted this little fellow is the longest I’ve gone without a cat. Ever.

Cats have always been part of life and often show up as a theme in my writing. I compare my romantic whims to those of a cat in this post. Cat On A Hot Tin Roof is one of my favorite films of all time. I talked a bit about my affection for Jessica Rabbit but I’m also working on a piece about my other alter ego, Selina Kyle, better known as Catwoman (incidentally, I know that my alter egos are both fictional cartoon and comic book characters and that my new kitten is named after one of the min characters in Thundercats…I know this makes me a geek which really is not news to anyone who knows me). I have a huge poster of Catwoman on the wall in my living room. I also have a cat o’ nine in my goodie drawer.

Anyway, enough about me. Meet Snarf. He’s painfully adorable and has boundless energy. He also has this insanely cute/annoying/disturbing habit of chewing on my hand, as you can see here.

Also I never break the one shot only rule but this guy is so cute I couldn’t resist posting all three.

Just my feet.

I’ve been recovering from a minor back injury this week and so I’m not feeling at all sexy.

This pic summarizes the best things about summer; dresses, sandals, pedicures.

The polish on my toes changes color in the sun. It’s clear normally but turns hot pink when hot with direct sunlight. Pretty cool huh?
