Sex in Movies – Secretary

This is not a sex scene in the traditional sense of the word but it is easily the sexiest scene in the movie.

The thing that makes this scene so hot is that even though Mr. What’s-His-Name can sense that Lee is a sub, he really had no idea how she would ultimately react to his special brand of “punishment”. Still, he does not ask consent.

I love the look on her face after the first blow. She’s surprised, she’s taken aback, she’s confused. She’s supposed to be pissed, to be calling the cops, but she’s not.

Instead she’s really fucking turned on! (And so was I after watching it).

Moviesex – Boogie Nights

This month’s pick is Boogie Nights, the epic film about one young man’s adventures and misadventure in the porn industry of the 70’s.

At many times hilarious, this film has haunting moments that look deeper at society’s relationship with sex and porn over the years.

OK on to the sex scene. I actually wanted to clip this about two minutes before Dirk and Amber actually start to get down to it because the part where their going over the scene is so good. Dirk is nervous and worried about making his first fuck scene look sexy. Amber is loving instructing him on where to come. You see them both recite riciculous lines as the cameras roll. It’s priceless.

You get a little of that in this clip as well. The thing I love most about this scene is not the riduculousness of it all, the film’s directors are obviously attempting to poke fun a the industry here.

It’s that Dirk, a young and handsome but dim witted guy, had finally found something he was really good at, something he could be proud of, something that made him special. And you see this pride all over his face as he’s fucking Amber Waves on her desk.

I have to include a second scene here even though there’s no sex in it. I loved this scene because It reminded me of times I had crushes and made my feelings know only to be rejected. I found Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s character to be so incredibly endearing. In any case, I related to this and I’s sure many of you can as well.

Sex in Movies – “Make Me Feel Good”

I’d be totally remiss if I started collecting the best sex scenes in cinema without mentioning this scene from Monster’s Ball.

There are so many things to love about this scene.

Halle Berry’s raw desperation in this scene is awesome. Her son was just killed and she’s beside herself. And what better to take your mind off the whole thing than getting righteously shagged by Billy Bob Thorton and demanding over and over again “make me feel good”.

Halle Berry, besides being smoking hot, really shows her stuff (no pun intended) as an actress here. It isn’t a wonder she won an Oscar for this.

Billy Bob is sexy. I know many people don’t think so but I do. I’d totally do him. And I suggest any actor wanting to improve his love scene game take notes from him.

I love that they go through like five positions in three minutes.

I love that you can see the actors. None of the fancy draping with the sheets.

I love that Billy Bob can’t seem to take his hands off Halle’s ass for one second.

I love that they never quite make it to a bed.

I love the sheer emotional violence of the sex in this scene, as if each of them is taking out years of anger and resentment on the other.

And I love that by the end, you can see that they’ve made a real connection.

The scene is raw, acid, real. It’s not flowery and artistic and fake as many love scenes in film are. It’s the nitty gritty. It’s how real people fuck (not that I’m saying real people don’t ever make love in gardens of roses…just that no one I know has).

Moviesex – Unfaithful

This movie was hot all around; hot sex, hot Olivier Martinez, hot Diane Lane, hot Richard Gere.

I could go on.

There were plenty of good sex scenes in the movie but none as powerful to me as the first one (although the one where Olivier’s and Diane’s characters have a quick, angry fuck in the hallway comes in a close second).

The scene was great partially due to the hotness factor of the actors but mainly because of Diane Lanes brilliant silent acting. Her face tells so clearly the story of a loving yet bored and undersexed wife who is simultaneously dying for a bit of pleasure and loathsome of herself because of that desire.

Paul, her smokin’ hot, young, European paramour, senses this and attempts to ease her conscience by telling her to hit him. She can always tell herself she put up a fight. Even if it wasn’t really much of one.

On the ride home from her affair, Diane’s face contorts wonderfully as she cries from both pleasure and pain as she recalls the incident. She’s probably wondering if people will be able to tell what she’d just done by simply looking at her.

Moviesex – Eurotrip

I LOVE this movie! Although I’ve seen it a million times, Eurotrip never fails to make me laugh hysterically.

In this scene, the gang ends up wandering around Amsterdam. Cooper makes it his mission to find a sex club (his goal for the trip was simply to have “hot European sex”.

As you can see from the clip, the sex got a little too hot for him.

Watching this makes me want to tie some poor, unsuspecting fellow down and ass rape him.

And I love Lucy Lawless’ dress.
