HNT- Kitty Cat

I have a new roommate. His name is Snarf.

The five months between the time Ramses ran away and the time I adopted this little fellow is the longest I’ve gone without a cat. Ever.

Cats have always been part of life and often show up as a theme in my writing. I compare my romantic whims to those of a cat in this post. Cat On A Hot Tin Roof is one of my favorite films of all time. I talked a bit about my affection for Jessica Rabbit but I’m also working on a piece about my other alter ego, Selina Kyle, better known as Catwoman (incidentally, I know that my alter egos are both fictional cartoon and comic book characters and that my new kitten is named after one of the min characters in Thundercats…I know this makes me a geek which really is not news to anyone who knows me). I have a huge poster of Catwoman on the wall in my living room. I also have a cat o’ nine in my goodie drawer.

Anyway, enough about me. Meet Snarf. He’s painfully adorable and has boundless energy. He also has this insanely cute/annoying/disturbing habit of chewing on my hand, as you can see here.
